Reconstruction of the nail plate

The reconstruction plate is performed for aesthetic and protective reasons. It involves filling the cavities with a special gel containing an antifungal agent.

Indications for nail reconstruction:

• Mechanical trauma,
• After collecting the plate for tests,
• After cleaning the nail of excessive keratinized masses,
• After surgical removal of the nail plate or a part thereof,
• As a result of damage to the matrix when the plate does not grow back.
